This policy explains what personal information Feasto collects when you use the customer app, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, phone number, email address and profile photo, if you add one.
- Addresses and location: the delivery addresses you save, and your location when you allow it, to show restaurants near you and to place your pin accurately.
- Orders: what you ordered, from whom, when, how you paid, offers used, ratings and reviews.
- Payments: the payment method and result. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment partner and are not stored by us. We keep your wallet balance and its history.
- Help and support: messages you send to our team or to our automated assistant, tickets, and any photos you attach.
- Delivery proof: a photo the delivery partner takes at your door.
- Device information: device type, app version and a notification token so we can send you order updates.
- A reliability score: a score our team sees, based on your order history such as cancellations and refunds. It is used to prevent abuse and is not shown to restaurants or delivery partners.
2. Why we use it
- To take, deliver and support your orders, and to process payments and refunds.
- To show you offers and send order updates. Marketing messages can be turned off in your profile at any time.
- To keep Feasto safe, prevent fraud and misuse, and meet our legal duties, including tax records.
- To improve the app, for example by finding what is slow or confusing.
3. Who we share it with
- The restaurant sees your first name, your order and any note you add. The delivery partner sees your name, phone number, address, order and, while delivering, your live position on the map.
- Service providers that work for us: payment processing, cloud hosting and databases, notifications, maps, and the companies that run our automated support assistant. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
- Authorities when the law requires it or to protect people from harm.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Our automated assistant
Parts of our help chat are answered by an AI assistant. Your messages and relevant order details are sent to the company that runs the assistant so it can reply. Please do not share passwords, card numbers or other sensitive details in the chat. You can ask for a person at any time.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account and order history while your account is open. After you delete your account we remove or anonymise your personal details, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons. Delivery proof photos are kept for a short time, normally 24 hours, unless a complaint needs them.
6. Your choices and rights
- See and correct your details in your profile.
- Turn off marketing messages, and turn location or notifications off in your phone settings.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to erase it, by deleting your account in the app or writing to us.
- Withdraw your consent at any time. Some features will then stop working.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you, as the law allows, and complain to us or to the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Security and where it is stored
We protect your data with access controls and encryption in transit. Our servers are in India. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your phone and account safe.
8. Children
Feasto is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes and contact
If we change this policy in an important way, we will tell you in the app. Questions, requests and complaints: Grievance Officer, Feasto. Email: hello@feastoapp.com. Phone: 9000706395. Address: Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
